The JLtLC office is in Kigumba Town where the organisation is based. In all things God is the director of the work since the assistance given to children is God’s initiative and He guides as to how and to which children help is given. There are so many needy children in the area but generally help is given to the poorest children irrespective of their faith and background.

The guardians of the children in the programmes become well known to the staff and greatly appreciate the help given. They see the love of God expressed through the assistance given to their children and in the way it is given.

Gradually the area of operation is extending, especially in regard to the children with special needs for whom other resources are few and far between. Guardians are willing to travel some distance by bicycle, motorbike taxi and minibus taxi to get help for their children through JLtLC.
